Hi KYBER team, I’m having an issue with the current KYBER installer on Windows. Windows is detecting/blocking the KYBER installer as a potential threat. The installer was downloaded from the official KYBER download and is the current Windows x64 installer. Windows/Smart App Control is preventing it from running, so I’m unable to reinstall or update KYBER. I previously had a similar issue with a KYBER installer, but reinstalling KYBER resolved it at the time. This time, however, Windows is continuing to block the installer and I cannot get KYBER installed again. I have already deleted the previous KYBER installation and downloaded the installer again, but Windows still detects/blocks it. Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue with the current installer and whether the current installer has been submitted/recognized as a false positive by Microsoft Defender/Smart App Control? The launcher itself is still saying joining game. The server is an official server. The last line in the console is “[RPC] Sending server join event to launcher”
so when i boot up Kyber and then i click a server to join it just loads up normal battlefront two instead of putting me in the server, any suggestions on how to fix this?
The servers are in terrible shape. Please please please fix the main conquest and galactic assault servers, which have been lag stuttering for EV ERYONE in the lobbies. this issue has been going on for about a month now. no major new news since May 4th? What’s going on Kyber team? Please fix your servers so everyone can enjoy the game or hire someone who can <3 May the force be with you.
I think Kyber is great but one thing I think they should add is for BF+ I think they should add one of the CX’s from the bad batch into the empire team as a new character or even skins of each for the basic troopers.
Kyber says it can be just a mod launcher like Frosty was, but I’m fully unable to join any server when loading mods using Kyber.
The worst server I’ve ever played on; the admins are moronic incompetents who kick you just because they feel like it. I curse their families—may you burn in hellfire for the rest of your lives, you ungrateful scum, you vile wretches, you sons and daughters of whores.
For some reason, Grievous, Kenobi, Dooku, and Anakin are locked. It doesn’t matter which mods I pick, they’re always locked. Is there any fix?
Hey, there was some really nasty behavior from a player, calling everyone a lot of ableist names and shitting all over the game. Relentlessly, to everyone in the lobby. I collected a screenshot to report, but your report feature in the launcher isn't letting me add the image at all, and it won't submit my report without evidence. I'm not one to go and report behavior usually, gamers sometimes are toxic and I'm aware of this, but this guy would NOT STOP being bigoted and cruel to people in the chat while saying nonstop nasty stuff about the game, and he consistently was one of the lesser players on his team. With no easy way to mute a players chats, we all just had to…. Deal with it…? I got to the point of leaving after a few games. I'm sure others were as well, others were also trying to tell this person to chill it's just a game.
Idk why but when i host a server or join one it gets a black screen fof like 5 seconds and then it crashes. i used battlefront plus and battlefront expanded instant action. maybe its bc im installing smth but idk pls help. oh yea it works tho if i launch the game without any mods
It has a few issues. I'd remove the mechanic that allows vehicles to capture objectives. I'd also make it so characters are instantly killed if they enter the enemy spawn zone. Other than that, I don't have many complaints. The only thing is that it can turn into a massive hero spam sometimes, but it is what it is. Maybe add a mode without heroes, just basic units.
I haven’t done extensive testing or anything like that but friendly tanks have lately been triggering the red zone on the minimap like if there was an enemy inside them or like if its an enemy tank.
I just can’t install it. It shows an error at the end of the download. Everything worked before the update of Kyber
This has been consistent, it was on Ajan Kloss, I was Rey and my Saber swings would not register all the time with AI first order reinforcements. May want to look into it, my saber simply would phase through; no dodge rolls or blocks.
Sometimes when clicking a server, the mod list turns grey hiding the mods used for the server.
