Saved Server settings

When hosting a server, you drag the sliders to add bots, toggle whether they ignore players, etc. But as soon as the map changes, the settings reset. (Example: add 16×16 bots to both teams, play the map, map changes and the bot count goes to 0. Now you have to redrag sliders to add bots again) Make it keep all settings the same until: 1) The setting is manually changed 2) The server is shutdown causing settings to go to default

Region specific roles and channels on discord

Create region specific roles and channels for the discord so people can more easily get together to host servers and play on KYBER beyond the official servers. I’ve yet to see a BR server fully populated on KYBER despite seeing many Brazilians playing on NA servers and I think this is mostly due to everyone defaulting to the official servers.

A nightmare...

Hi there, my husband and I were trying to play after a long time on our own self-hosted server to get familiar with the game again. Since we don't have much free time, we really dislike playing on official servers. However... we've only been able to play a couple of matches. After that, we couldn't switch sides, the game kept crashing (despite setting it to borderless windowed mode), and in the end, we spent 5 hours just to play two matches. I understand that fixing EA's poor work is difficult, but honestly... it would have been much simpler if you had left the previous Kyber online, since it worked well, and kept the Kyber 2 beta on the side for those who wanted to test the new features you are implementing. Otherwise, nobody is ever going to be able to play. Oh, by the way, the settings for each map keep resetting, and all the bots we set are always removed. It doesn't matter if we update the server; after a while, it throws an error and we just can't play.

Bug Report

Chicago server is laggy.

I get a lot of lag on the Chicago server but when I switch to Virginia it is really smooth even though the latency is higher on VA. I figured it might just be that the server is overloaded so I tested it this morning while there aren’t many players and the Chicago server is still laggy. I’ve noticed other people complaining about lag in matches so I assume they are also connected through Chicago. Just wanted to make sure ya’ll know about this. Thanks for making Kyber! Having a blast with it!

Change skin/cosmetic download

I have been to many devs for a while now trying to find a way for me and my friends to have access to modded skins but because they are client sided kyber doesnt make people download it when they join a server and for that I would like to ask to expand skin and cosmetics to download requirements upon a server join. Would really love this feature, thank you.

Feature Request

Launcher Webview not working

I’m brand new to Kyber and just installed the launcher and am currently trying to log in to Nexus mods for the first time however the web view element will not directly connect to Nexus. Logging into EA went smoothly but Nexus will not load at all. I’ve tried removing and reapplying my firewall twice and added exceptions to the Kyber launcher for this copy of the launcher but it will not work.

few ideas

I would like Cad Bane, helmetless Second Sister, Mace Windu and a what if he survived skin, Plo Koon, Jawas for Rebels as an infiltrator. Update Honor Guard adding the spear from A New Hope replacing the red circle trap just use the same animations like you did with Royal Guard, either add another bacta grenade or reduce cooldown. Kenobi Series Obi wan skins, reduce cooling for the Royal Guard. Nerf BB8s cable spin and Cals freeze/slow, add a little damage reduction for the heroes in GA and Supremacy because heroes get defeated easily. Thank you Kyber for going a great job modding this!!

Rebel vs Empire gives me depression in BF+ ------ Clone Aerial vs Droid Aerial is not balanced

To start off, I just want to say that I am very grateful to experience Kyber. I haven’t played BF2 (PSN player) for..I don't know how long. Maybe 2 years??.I just got tired of it. It got really repetitive…But then I downloaded Kyber a month ago and I am hooked all over again. Thank you for taking the time to create this masterpiece. —------------------------ I do not find enjoyment in playing Empire. I dread it every single time I see I’m on the Empire side cause I know what’s gonna happen…an L. Rebels are broken AF. If I could see my win/ratio for all eras and their sides, Empire would undoubtedly be my lowest. I know that in Vanilla, the Empire is the one that is busted… but they only have one broken reinforcement (Death trooper) in vanilla. If you stack those, it’s gg…but there’s a limit since it’s just one reinforcement. Plus, it’s mainly only an issue on days where the lower battle point event  is taking place (Thursday-Friday). Thankfully, Kyber doesn’t partake in those special event days And frankly…there is no point to…when rebels have not just one…but multiple broken reinforcements in kyber. They damage heroes like it’s nothin. Especially the rebel pilot. The Death Trooper is literally the coughing baby (kyber version) vs hydrogen bomb (vanilla version) meme. He’s fun to use and I like the change…but he can’t do anything to the rebel reinforcements with his current damage output. No one on empire side can take on a rebel reinforcement, unless you are a hero, but even then, you have a great chance of getting cooked by 1-2 reinforcements alone Despite this however….you nerfed Death Trooper and increased the battle points for him in this new update?????? Why? No one used him. I personally started to use DT (Death Trooper) within the last week or so (before update) because I realize it’s been the most decent when it comes to DEALING DAMAGE to rebel reinforcements……notice how I said “dealing damage” and not “killing” And while I’m making this post, I mine as well address Clone Jet vs Droid Jet. I know people have a problem with Jet troopers…but all I’m asking for is proper balancing… In vanilla, I can go crazy with Clone Jet or Droid Jet. The difference is their movement speed. Whether I am facing Droid or Clone Jet while being the opposing one, it’s a battle based on movement and aiming However, in Kyber, while playing as Clone Jet, I find myself avoiding any interaction with a Droid Jet, let alone, with any other CIS reinforcement for that matter, as I soon realized that the gun you replaced on my Clone Jet is extremely bad. It is not a fair balance to give me a mid-blaster and let the droid jet keep their wrist blaster at the same damage output they have in vanilla. I can do just fine on Droid Jet in kyber, but it’s the complete opposite if I’m clone jet. Most times, it almost felt like I was weaker than a base class. And I sure can aim.I have the stats, videos, clips,  and ppl who can vouch for that in Supremacy/GA lobbies. So it aint no skill issue —----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I ultimately want one thing for both of these complaints: To have a proper balance. That’s all. I’m not asking for Clone Jet troopers to be OP like they are in vanilla I’m not asking for Empire to have broken reinforcements just like the rebels in kyber (that would simply make going hero pointless and a horrible time for both sides) I’m just asking for there to be a balance of things

Unable to install mods

When downloading mods with my ethernet plugged in I get the error message “ download failed clientexception: HVV NA-GALACTIC ASSAULT-YAVIN connection closed while receiving data, uri=https://dl.kyber.gg/mod-storage/bfplus_v10_1b.zip” and with ethernet unplugged on full internet connection, it doesn’t work at all. Please help idk what is happening. Antivirus exceptions are active, and the game is owned legitimately
