I often see people asking if its possible to do some of the things these commands do, e.g. changing the odds of the autoplayers spawning as a hero, as most people don’t know these commands even exist. Adding a couple important ones to the host menu would get rid of a lot of confusion, and would make using them more convenient. I think the main 3 commands that should be added are Autoplayers.SpecialSpawnProbability_Gameplay (chance of AI spawning in as reinforcements), Autoplayers.HeroSpawnProbability_Gameplay (chance of AI spawning in as heroes), and GameTime.TimeScale (how fast the game should run)

It is really annoying when I want to play starfighter or Ewok hunt and there are no servers available, so an official one that is always on would be much appreciated. I also don’t know if this is possible, so I apologize if it isn’t.
Would be helpful for non-standard/short keyboard layout players to be able to rebind the Kyber Launcher in-game key (Currently “Insert” key) that brings the Kyber Launcher into view allowing quickly changing server settings when hosting.
Consider changing the server browser page/tab to be a continuous, scrollable list of servers instead of being page based? To give more visibility to other servers beyond that which would be just on the first page. By default the official servers would be at the top still, followed by any community dedicated servers and then follow by the most populated player hosted lobbies.
Basically, a new channel is added where people can send links and share their STAR WARS OR BF2 SERVERS ONLY. To get permission to speak in the channel, you’ll need to open a ticket and answer some basic questions about the server, a Kyber official/staff member will join the server, check over it then leave and accept/decline their request.
This is probably more of a personal thing but I’d love to see characters like Baylon Skoll, Shin Hati, Barriss Offee in particular could be a very cool one as she could be either light or dark side maybe even both. especially considering she could have several different appearances, like her Inquistor one, Vnetress discuise for the dark side then her Jedi one and her outfit for after she left the empire. lots of options and as a healer who knew how to deceive. she could be very unique

Reviving Rebellion Supremacy with Sequel Ship Phases The Problem: Rebellion Supremacy currently ends abruptly after the ground phase, making matches feel short, incomplete, and deeply unsatisfying. Because of this lack of a ship phase, a massive portion of the player base avoids the playlist entirely. The Resolution: Use Sequel era capital ships (the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer and MC85 Star Cruiser) as stand-ins to give Rebellion Supremacy a proper, two-phase loop. The Impact: Battlefront II is a sandbox game where player fun must come before strict lore accuracy. Giving the era a ship phase—even with recycled assets—will immediately increase player counts, drive engagement, and unify the structure of all three eras. 2. Expanding Cross-Era Hero Rosters Palpatine in Republic Supremacy: Palpatine should be added to the Clone Wars roster as Darth Sidious, providing a powerful and highly thematic Dark Side anchor for the era. Yoda & Obi-Wan in Rebellion Supremacy: Both Masters should be added to the Rebellion era roster. Even though they did not actively fight on the front lines of the Galactic Civil War, they were alive and guided the Rebellion. Battlefront II is a fantasy sandbox, and gameplay variety should take precedence over 100% timeline accuracy. The "Old Ben" Skin Solution: To maintain visual immersion in the Rebellion era, Kyber should introduce a custom, age-accurate "Old Ben" Kenobi skin for Obi-Wan, allowing players to field a weathered, elder version of the classic Jedi.
Just what the title says, currently if you want to look for mods to delete in case you need space you really just need to go on Windows Explorer cause the Launcher does not give you this option. Cool feature i think
Hi all, appreciate the work on this launcher, so here are a few quality-of-life improvements I’d like to see for the UI: General improvements: Window sizing: Currently, in windowed mode, the Kyber launcher has a minimum width. Allow dynamic resizing to match user experience in maximized windows (e.g. portrait mode, different display types, etc.) Home Tab: Server ping: add visual information for the ping to the server list. Pagination: allow customization of number of servers in list (e.g. 10, 20, 50, all). Scrolling text: When the text field for a server, such as the server name, is longer than the window width, implement a slow text scroll. Filter for multiple subcategories: Allow selection of multiple subcategories (e.g. search multiple regions such as NA & Europe, or multiple game modes such Blast & Strike) Server side panel detail: The “Info” tab on the side panel of the server list has a textbox for description but nothing else. Add additional context about the server in a child sub panel, such as basic server configuration, player lists, etc. Host tab: Add option for server configuration presets (create, load, save) to allow quick switching of hosting options for different game modes, map rotations, or mod collections. The export and import system is great, but would be better served built into the UI. As is, there is no current way to select individual mods- they must be included in a collection, but this is not obvious. Add a selection tool for installed mods or collections, or visually note the requirement for mods to be inside a collection before they can be selected, if this is due to a technical requirement. Mods tab: Streamline the user experience for first-time users: Introduce a button for “Add Mods” that either opens the “Browser” tab, or otherwise calls attention to the workflow of installing a mod. As is, the UIX is not very intuitive to install the first mod as first time user. Similarly, streamline the creation of a mod collection, or add a first-time tooltip explaining the purpose of collections and the importance for server hosting. Anyways, thanks for the work you’ve all put in already and I’m looking forward to the next release.
Sometimes i want to join server when it says 39/40, i press join and boom “server is full”, making player count update in real time would be really useful
I think kyber should use the KDA system, instead of the KD system. (Kda is kills, deaths, assist). Since bf2 is a team game, i think counting assist to your KD(A) would be amazing.
I heard that someone runed Kyber on ubuntu but it would be nice to have official version. And the fact of soon realising Steam OS on pc’s will be good example of why we should have official Kyber Linux version.
Also add scrolling using arrow keys for people who have broken scroll wheels
Add a ping column for different servers (so I know if EU is currently playable or not), maybe even a sorting method for ping even if it’s a static manually refresh-able estimate.
Create region specific roles and channels for the discord so people can more easily get together to host servers and play on KYBER beyond the official servers. I’ve yet to see a BR server fully populated on KYBER despite seeing many Brazilians playing on NA servers and I think this is mostly due to everyone defaulting to the official servers.
