When dragging and dropping a zip file onto the launcher, there is no indication of completion progress. Such files should be displayed in the download manager menu.
The Download Manager uses an external package for tracking tasks, so hooking dnd installs into it would take more much effort than it’s worth right now. Closing for now, though feel free to reopen if this is a bigger issue.
